Currently several types of high power solid state lasers exist. These are semiconductor diode, Lamp pumped, and diode
pumped lasers. At Vivaray solutions we have proprietary core technology capable of producing very high power and energy per
pulse from a laser source.
Although solid state lasers systems have existed for quite some time, recent advances in fiber laser technology have enabled
design and construction of high power, low thermal load and highly efficient devices. Double clad fibers have been at the
forefront of advances in this area, and have pushed the limits of laser technology for continuous wave (CW) operation in the
kilowatt regime. This has been accompanied with phenomenally high operational efficiency, and relatively small footprint. Just a
few years ago these advancements with conventional bulk media (namely Nd:YAG) would have been unthinkable.
ViVaray Solutions Inc. Is dedicated to advancement of solid state laser technology to the next performance level. To be beneficial,
such an advancement must be coupled with implementation of high power systems in commercial, industrial and scientific
markets. We have designed, constructed, tested and demonstrated laser systems holding key fundamental technology for
generation of high power from solid state lasers. In doing so, we provide an enabling technology which allows construction of
high power laser sources for industrial applications where reliability, consistency, and efficiency are very important.
Construction of high power platforms also opens the door for various other applications such as environmental monitoring,
remote detection, metrology, spectroscopy, medical and basic scientific research. ViVaray Solutions Inc. is dedicated to
developing high power lasers sources for these applications as well.
